Call of the Crow 2026: First nine bands revealed

 



Building on last years successful venture, Call of the Crow festival returns to Pealie's Barn in North Yorkshire with increased capacity but still maintaining  the intimate charm that was welcomed so warmly before 

The Festivals first announcement consists of Saturday headliners, anniversary sets and an unholy trio of UK Debuts: 



Owls Woods Graves (Poland) – black metal punks, Saturday headliner

Formed by The Fall & E.V.T, known also as live members of Mgła, the band celebrates the 2025 release of their third album ‘Strix’.

 

Wolcensmen (UK) – dark folk, Longhall Friday Special Guest

The mythological dark folk project from Dan Capp (ex. Winterfylleth, Solstice and Grab) will transport us to other realms within the candlelit Longhall Stage.

 

Necronautical (UK) – black metal, The Endurance At Night set

Celebrating ten years of their masterpiece “The Endurance at Night” - this exclusive setlist will be performed in their traditional corpsepaint.

 

Black Altar (Poland/ UK) – orthodox black metal, 30th anniversary

Having been forced to cancel their appearance at our first edition due to logistics, Black Altar come back to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a grim rite. 

 

Patristic (Italy) – blackened death metal, UK Debut

From members of Hideous Divinity and Nocturnal Depression comes a masterclass in black and death metal ferocity.

 

Bianca (Italy) – atmospheric black metal, UK Debut

Pushing the boundaries of extreme music by fusing raw black metal fire with doom-leaning heaviness and rich, immersive atmospheres.

 

Ash Magick (Turkey) – raw black metal, UK Debut

Signed to the great Apocalyptic Witchcraft and presenting raw black metal with an Eastern inspired flavour.

 

Miško Boba (UK) – melodic black metal

A growing presence in the underground - marrying Lithuanian folklore, history, and visceral black metal into a sound that feels ancient and urgent.

 

 Their Last Stop (Ireland) – depressive atmospheric black metal

An extreme yet melodic sound layered with dark emotions, guiding listeners on a tragic journey of loss and ruin.
